The Seattle™ Diamond-Fyre™ is Avalon’s newest gas fireplace. This fireplace replaces the traditional logset with a contemporary multi-section ribbon burner. The firebox floor is under-lit to illuminate a bed of crushed glass that picks up hundreds of tiny flame reflections and looks like a blanket of spilled diamonds. You can choose from Platinum, Cobalt blue or bronze glass. Metal firebacks are required, and come in the choice of basic black paint or glossy black enamel, which nicely reflects the flame pattern to create the illusion of a much larger fire. With the combination of convective heat, radiant heat and reduced depth dimension the unit is ideal for zone heating in bedrooms, dens and intimate spaces. The fireplace features 564 square inches of high quality, high clarity, tempered glass with a removable safety screen.

The wide ribbon of flame, along with the heat output can be controlled by the convenient Comfort Control gas valve. The Comfort Control feature allows you to turn off the sides of the burner to turn down the heat while maintaining the fire. This allows you to comfortably be able to use your fireplace year around.
